about lexi.

I was born outside the box. A rebellious soul from day one.

I came into this world with my intestines outside of my body, a rare condition called gastroschisis. As a dear friend and spiritual teacher explained, "Ah! No wonder you feel everything, your guts are on the outside". Intuition has always been my super power.

I was also born with three fingers missing from my right hand. I felt so incomplete and suffered with a deep sense of unworthiness. I had access to my intuition from a young age, yet I spent the first part of my life trying to be anyone but me. I didn’t want to be different, I didn’t want to be "born this way". Every time I’d feel myself being pulled down the wrong path, my intuition would whisper "no, not that way!". I continued to spend many years disobeying the voice within, trading it for approval and affirmation. Not so surprisingly, this lead to more suffering, self sabotage, toxic relationships, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. I grew sick of being anyone but me. I began to seek for peace.

This eventually lead me to my yoga practice. I don’t remember the exact day it happened, the day I finally starting following my intuition. I do know if you follow your intuition the whispers will become loud and clear. I do know the sense of liberation that awaits you. I do know the profound and powerful effects of living your most authentic life. I do know that you too can have access to this freedom.

My journey to a life of liberation was born out of suffering. My love for helping others live their most authentic life, comes from years of feeling suppressed by fear and insecurity.

With the support of incredible mentors and community, a steady devotion to my yoga practice, daily meditation, channeling my own unique intuition, and learning different spiritual practices along the way, I began to fill my self care tool belt and replace my unhealthy coping mechanisms with acts of freedom.

Healing isn’t a linear path, everyone’s tool belt looks different, which is why it’s so important to be in community and have access to multiple avenues of self care.
