Meet your facilitators
Lexi Smith
Lexi Smith is the founder of Muhvmint. Yoga teacher, retreat host, and intuitive guide with over 8 years of teaching experience.
Her passion lies in guiding individuals through transformative experiences, which she has had the pleasure of doing through countless yoga classes, outdoor yoga events, yoga festivals, women's circles, and inspiring yoga retreats in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Lexi’s teaching style is a unique blend of dynamic yoga flow, intuitive movements, somatic release, guided breathwork, and meditation. Having navigated a lifetime of trauma, her approach is trauma-informed with a heart-centered perspective, she believes that life's challenges can be some of the most profound teachers.
Her greatest joy comes from fostering vulnerability, connecting wonderful individuals, and building a loving and supportive community.
Madeline Ishmael
Madeline Ishmael, RN, MPH, is a nurse, doula, herbalist, and founder of Uterine Wisdom & Wellness, a women’s health practice that blends functional medicine with Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies on nourishment, hormones, and cyclical living.
She has spent years supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, grounded in the belief that no woman is broken and that the body is always moving toward balance when supported through its unique constitution.
Madeline is also the creator of Mother’s Table, a culinary extension of her work where food becomes ceremony. Through herbal teas, congee, broths, and seasonal dishes, she explores nourishment as both nervous system care and sacred ritual.
Her work lives where science meets tradition, herbalism meets the kitchen, and where women are invited to return to their bodies: slowly and gently.
