Hiking Excursions

Let your inner child roam free. We will journey through the magic of the Smoky Mountains, taking in the scenic views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding National Forests. You will hike rewarding trails that offer panoramic views of the beautiful mountains. We take care of all of your transportation to and from excursions. Post hiking, you will be provided with a gourmet picnic lunch.

Nourishment

You will be nourished daily by your in house private chef and crew. Included in your retreat stay is coffee & tea service, three delicious vegetarian meals each day, healthy snacks, gourmet picnic lunches. The level of love and care that goes into our retreat experience is unmatched. We are happy to accommodate all allergies and food sensitivities.

Remember your life is a ritual.

Ritual is a way of life at The Maitri Retreat House.

Each retreat experience is weaved with intention and attention to the wisdom of each season. Our upcoming retreat is held during the fall equinox. The mountains shifting, the rivers and waterfalls slowing, the days growing shorter as the sun starts to dance behind the mountains. Inspiring the energy of rest and reflection. Through our classes and during our ceremonial workshop, you will be given an opportunity to set new intentions, celebrate your growth, and reflect on changes you would like to integrate into the next season.
